Blended Learning Format

📘 Course Content

1️⃣ Online Component – Self-Paced Modules

Access for 1 month from enrolment. Study before, during, or after your onsite week.

Key Topics:

  • Dental surgery setup (check-ups, fillings, extractions, RCTs, dentures, implants, emergencies)

  • Infection control & sterilisation simulation (no autoclave/dirty instruments used)

  • Dental documentation & Record keeping

  • Confidentiality, communication & patient care

  • Basic dental charting & terminology

  • Understanding the difference between sterilisation and disinfection.

  • DA roles & responsibilities

2️⃣ Onsite Hands-On Training – 5 Full Days

Hands-on Skills Covered:

  • Chairside assisting and 4-handed dentistry

  • Radiograph Processing using X-ray software.

  • Impression handling and basic restorations

  • Sterilisation & PPE use

  • Role-play communication with a simulated patient & live demonstrations in a simulated dental room

  • Supervised practice using real instruments and materials
