Our 1-Day ADC Part 2 OSCE Mock Test is designed to simulate the OSCE examination experience, allowing dentists to assess their performance across Communication OSCE and Clinical Skills OSCE tasks.
The mock examination consists of 10 stations: 6 Communication OSCE stations and 4 randomly selected Skills OSCE stations.
Candidates participate in structured examination-style assessments, followed by two hours of same-day feedback to identify strengths, recognise areas requiring improvement and better understand their current preparation level.
Assessments are designed with reference to relevant Australian Dental Council (ADC) and Dental Board of Australia (DBA) criteria, including infection control, effective communication and professional conduct.
This mock test is particularly suitable for candidates who want to evaluate their performance before sitting the ADC Part 2 examination.

1. Communication OSCE – 6 Stations
Candidates complete six examination-style communication scenarios selected to assess patient-centred communication and clinical reasoning.
Scenarios may involve:

- Informed consent
- Explaining clinical findings and treatment options
- Managing challenging patient interactions
- Professional communication and clinical reasoning
Candidates are assessed on their ability to communicate clearly, demonstrate professionalism and respond appropriately to clinical scenarios.
2. Clinical Skills OSCE – 4 Stations
Four clinical skills stations are randomly selected from the available task categories.
Tasks may include:
- Periodontal assessment and scaling
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Syncope management
- Extraction simulation
- Matrix band placement
- Rubber dam application
- Pit and fissure sealants
- Local anaesthesia techniques
- Dental radiography simulation
Candidates are assessed on their clinical approach, technical execution, infection control and professionalism.
